FAMILY LAW: Our firm has over 75 years combined experience in all family law matters, including complex divorce litigation, property division, complaints for modification, contempts, child support and alimony, child custody, parenting time, contested guardianships, and conservatorships. We can also assist you in drafting documents such as pre-nuptual agreements and separation agreements.
WILLS AND TRUSTS: Our firm assists families and individuals with estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, health care proxies, living declarations and powers of attorney. In addition, we assist with estate administration, including filing and probating wills, publication, collecting the decedent's assets, liquidating liabilities, and distribution of property to the heirs.
PERSONAL INJURY: We represent injured parties and their families in serious injury and wrongful death cases involving automobile accidents, defective products, and other instances where the injury or death occurs through the fault or negligence of someone else.
REAL ESTATE: Our firm handles a wide variety of real estate matters, including residential and commercial purchase and sales, closings, refinances, mortgage foreclosures, title insurance issues, representation of real estate developers, zoning and land use matters, comprehensive permit and 40B issues, landlord/tenant, housing matters, and condominium law.
BUSINESS MATTERS: We provide a wide range of drafting and advisory services to corporations, partnerships, and LLCs. We provide representation with all aspects of corporation and business law including the formation of partnerships, corporations, preparation and negotiation of contracts, and closing complicated business transactions.
MUNICIPAL LAW: Experience as town counsel, including conservation, zoning, comprehensive permits, planning board and board of health matters.
EMPLOYMENT LAW: Our firm has considerable experience in drafting employment contracts and has successfully represented employers in litigation involving allegations of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, employee discrimination, employee benefits matters, and MCAD complaints.
ADMINISTRATIVE LAW: Our firm has a long history of successfully representing individuals and corporations before state and local government agencies, reviewing and interpreting agency rules and assisting with compliance.
CONSTRUCTION LAW: We have successfully represented contractors, subcontractors and owners in many unique aspects of the construction industry including labor issues, mechanic liens, contracts, dispute resolution, litigation, administrative issues and licensing.
NON-PROFIT OR CHARITABLE CORPORATIONS: We assist clients in forming non-profit or charitable corporations and in apply for tax-exempt status. Our firm represents a number of organizations, including housing development clients who produce low and moderate income, handicapped, elderly and special needs housing in Massachusetts through the use of development grants, HUD, DHCD, MHFA and other agency loans, in a number of matters including drafting of necessary contracts and the formation of limited partnerships whch utilize low and moderate income housing tax credits and syndication.
